Chelsea have approached Sporting CP over a potential transfer for defender Ousmane Diomande as they look to add more center-backs in January.

Chelsea interested in Ivory Coast defender

According to The Standard Chelsea have identified the 20 year old as one of their main transfer targets. Internally with the signing of the striker is also considered. The Blues initially made an investigation for Diomande but Sporting denied it saying they would sell him for the terms of his release for just  69 million (80 million).
